One World for East Africa — One Week Left!
We are currently making our final preparations for the One World for East Africa Event! We're really excited that we have so many people as interested in the cause as we are, and we really appreciate all of your support. It's going to be a huge hit!
Because we know that you're busy like us, we've tried to make it as easy as possible for you to purchase tickets to our event. At the top of this page, you'll find the dropdown box with quick options to purchase the ticket that you prefer. Prices will be slightly higher at the door ($10 per person), so we encourage you to take advantage of Google Checkout. If you choose to purchase online, we'll have you registered at the door, so there's no need to bring any physical receipt.
Also, if you've got another conflict but you're still invested in our cause, there's a donation button at the top of the page. Feel free to donate any amount — even just ten cents provides another Somalian child with food for a day.
Thank you, again, for all your support: we can't wait to see you there!

Calling All Artists!!
Here’s a great way to use your talent to “Help Heal Haiti” as well as another noble cause:
Dear artists,
I hope all is well. My name is Alice Chan. As president, I am writing on behalf of Help A Life Organization (HALO). HALO is a service organization dedicated to helping underprivileged children through a variety of children's events, fundraisers, and information sharing. This year, our proceeds will go towards the Haiti Relief Fund and No Worries Now Foundation. No Worries Now Foundation is a nonprofit that organizes prom events for teenagers afflicted with life threatening illnesses. The organization was founded by Cornell sophomore Fred Scarf. In the last three years, No Worries Now has organized numerous proms throughout California. For more information, please visit their website (http://shiri.org/401.html).
Every year, HALO holds a charity auction for donated artwork from students and local artists. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction go to our sponsored charities. I was wondering if you were willing or interested in donating any artwork to our cause. The auction will be held on April 10th from 8-10:30pm in the Duffield Hall Atrium on Cornell University's campus.
If you have any questions or are interested in donating, feel free to email me (ac769@cornell.edu). We will be picking up artwork throughout February and March. To learn more about us, please visit our website at http://sao.cornell.edu/SO/
Thank you so much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best,
Alice
